Introduction to Tibetan Yoga

55,00€ – 90,00€On Saturday, 21.9.24 we offer 4-session class that incorporates elements from both the Tibetan Yoga and Tibetan Mindfulness Meditation sections. This structure combines various Tibetan yoga practices with progressive meditation techniques, offering a comprehensive introduction to Tibetan healing methods.
This class will take place in English language and consists of 4 sessions (from 10 to 13 and 14.30 to 17.30):
- Seven-point Vajra Posture and their Benefits: Opening five chakras and energizing five pranas/energies within some simple yoga movements to make it possible to sit in vajra posture.
- Ninefold Breathing and Using Mantra Syllables for Purification: Open the three main channels in our body and boost the immune system and stimulate healing.
- Yoga for energizing the five senses and their benefits: Healing and maintaining the health of the five senses, five solid and five hollow organs.
- Self-Healing massages and their benefits: Opening all the channels in our body and learn a little-known self-massage method using your breath and hands to energize the body and heal affliction.
Dr. Chok Tenzin Monlam is a distinguished scholar and practitioner. His extensive background spans both traditional Tibetan monastic education and rigorous academic study, making him a unique bridge between Eastern wisdom traditions and Western scholarship. His work as an author and translator, including writing two books on the Tibetan language and translating over 35 books, has further expanded access to Tibetan Knowledge for a global audience.
While Dr. Chok is accomplished in many areas, his true passion lies in Tibetan yoga and meditation. He is one of few individuals qualified to teach the rare Tibetan style of yogic practice, in addition to being certified in Indian yoga traditions. This expertise has allowed him to share the health benefits of Tibetan yoga for body, energy, and mind with students across India, the United States, and more than a dozen other countries.
