Legacy of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama | Professor Samdhong Rinpoche and H. E. Dagyab Kyabgön Rinpoche ( on site + live online )

We are deeply honored to welcome Professor Samdhong Rinpoche once again to Tibet House.

As the Year of Compassion continues, Rinpoche will deliver a public talk on the legacy of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, together with His Eminence Dagyab Rinpoche. As two of the closest disciples of His Holiness, they are uniquely qualified to reflect on his life, teachings, and enduring impact. It is difficult to imagine more fitting speakers for such an occasion, and we warmly encourage you not to miss this precious opportunity. This event forms part of the celebrations marking the 90th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

It goes without saying that both Rinpoches will be present at Tibet House.

The talk will be held in English with simultaneous German translation.

Professor Samdhong Rinpoche formerly served as the head of the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies in Sarnath, Varanasi. He later became the first directly elected President of the Central Tibetan Administration, serving two terms from 2000 to 2010. Prior to this, he also held the position of Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.

Rinpoche is a long-time friend and former classmate of His Eminence Dagyab Rinpoche, with their friendship spanning more than 60 years.
