Topic: ‘How and why did the Buddha come into this world?’

Geshema Phuntsok Namdrol earned the highest marks across all of India and Nepal as part of the first group of nuns to complete the 22-year Geshema program—equivalent to a PhD in Buddhist philosophy under the guidance of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. This historic group graduated in 2016 in South India in the presence of His Holiness. She is currently the principal teacher at Kopan Nunnery and has been invited to several Western countries to teach Buddhism.

Dhardo Tulku Rinpoche will explore The Four Noble Truths in this one-hour online session. As one of the fundamental teachings of Buddhism, the Four Noble Truths explain the nature of suffering, its causes, and the path to liberation.
Dhardo Tulku Rinpoche studied Buddhism at Drepung Monastery University and completed his Geshe Lharampa degree.
