Thubten Chodron will host the Open Session in June with the topic of <b>&#8220;Working with Anger&#8221;<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Anger seems to be on the rise in our societies, dividing\u00a0communities, friends, and families. In a world that demands that we take sides, how might we take the side of wisdom and compassion? Join Ven. Chodron as she explores how we can stand up for our values and engage with society without burning up our inner peace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This talk is in English with German translation and free of charge. We would appreciate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tibethaus.com\/mitmachen\/spenden\/\"><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"color: blue;\">a donation for our buddhism section.<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Venerable Chodron<\/b>, originally from the U.S., trained for many years in Asia and is especially well qualified to teach Western monastics. She received novice ordination in 1977 and full ordination in 1986. Her teachers include His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tsenzhab Serkong Rinpoche, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and Lama Thubten Yeshe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">She is the founder of Sravasti Abbey and a renowned author and teacher. Among her many publications are the ten-volume series <i>The Library of Wisdom and Compassion<\/i>, co-authored with the Dalai Lama, with whom she has studied for nearly fifty years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Known for her practical and often humorous teaching style, Ven.
