At the heart of Buddhist teachings lies the invitation to rest in our true nature, an inherent, brilliant wholeness which is not other than the ground of being itself. Recognizing and remembering this fundamental and inextricable connection to everyone and all things paves the way for a life of awakened, joyful compassion. In this evening\u2019s talk, we will draw on the teachings of the 11th century Tibetan yogini Machig Labdr\u00f6n, whose wisdom remains relevant and applicable in everyday modern life.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pieter Oosthuizen and Charlotte Rotterdam are long-time students of Tibetan Buddhism and teach meditation, Feeding your Demons, Ch\u00f6d and other Buddhist practices. They are senior teachers at Tara Mandala Buddhist Retreat Center, founded by Lama Tsultrim Allione. Pieter received his Law degree in his native South Africa and the Director of the Feeding your Demons Certification Training, which he co-teaches with Charlotte. Charlotte received her Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and is an Instructor and Director of the Center for the Advancement of Contemplative Education at Naropa University. Jahrhundert beziehen, deren Weisheit auch im modernen Alltag relevant und anwendbar bleibt.<\/p>\n

Dorje Lop\u00f6n Charlotte Rotterdam und Lop\u00f6n Pieter Oosthuizen \u00a0sind langj\u00e4hrige Studierende des tibetischen Buddhismus und lehren Meditation, D\u00e4monen n\u00e4hren, Ch\u00f6d und andere buddhistische Praktiken.
