After finishing school, he studied at the University as a designer-architect in the city of Vladivostok. In 2004 he moved to Moscow, where in 2011 he entered the school of contemporary art at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, and after graduating, he began to actively participate in art life not only in Russia. Over the next 9 years,\u202fDmitry\u202ftook part in various exhibitions as a contemporary artist, including in the parallel programs of the 7th Moscow Biennale (2017), the 15th Istanbul Biennale (2017) and in the main program of\u202fAnhydrite Biennale of Media Art (2019, Kyffh\u00e4userland, Germany), he had several solo exhibitions, including an exhibition at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (2015).\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">In 2022, when Russia attacked Ukraine,\u202fDmitry\u202fwas forced to leave his homeland because of his open anti-war position, and since then his career as a contemporary artist has declined, but there was more time for the practice of Buddhadharma, which\u202fDmitry\u202fhad been following for several years, and after some time,\u202fDmitry\u202fhad a desire to apply his artistic skills for the benefit of the Dharma and an idea arose to draw portraits of Dharma Teachers of various traditions and lines. This is how the idea of drawing 108 portraits of various Teachers was born. In the future,\u202fDmitry\u202fwould like to publish an album of his drawings dedicated to the Dharma Teachers who influenced him and played an important role in the dissemination of Buddhadharma and more.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ausstellungser\u00f6ffnung | <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dmitry Lyashenko<\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Die Idee f\u00fcr eine Serie von Bleistiftportr\u00e4ts buddhistischer Lehrerinnen und Lehrer entstand aus dem Wunsch des K\u00fcnstlers, mit den Ausdrucksmitteln der traditionellen westlichen Zeichenkunst das festzuhalten, was er beim Betrachten von Fotos und Videos dieser Lehrer empfand: grenzenlose G\u00fcte und Liebe, Geduld und Mitgef\u00fchl, die aus ihren Gesichtern strahlen.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dmitry Lyashenko wollte zun\u00e4chst jene Lehrer portr\u00e4tieren, die ihn als Praktizierenden durch B\u00fccher, Tonaufnahmen und Videos besonders gepr\u00e4gt haben. Dazu geh\u00f6ren Vertreter verschiedener Traditionen \u2013 Theravada, japanischer und vietnamesischer Zen sowie unterschiedliche Schulen des Vajrayana.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mit der Zeit wurde ihm klar, dass es sehr viele Lehrer gab, deren Portr\u00e4ts er zeichnen wollte. So entstand die Idee, 108 Portr\u00e4ts zu schaffen \u2013 als Hommage an das Licht, das von diesen Lehrerinnen und Lehrern ausgeht. Nach dem Schulabschluss studierte er Design und Architektur an der Universit\u00e4t in Wladiwostok. 2004 zog er nach Moskau und begann 2011 ein Studium an der Schule f\u00fcr zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst am Moskauer Museum f\u00fcr Moderne Kunst. Nach dem Abschluss beteiligte er sich aktiv am internationalen Kunstgeschehen.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In den folgenden neun Jahren nahm er an zahlreichen Ausstellungen teil, darunter an den Parallelprogrammen der 7. Moskauer Biennale (2017), der 15. Istanbul Biennale (2017) sowie an der Hauptausstellung der Anhydrite Biennale of Media Art (2019, Kyffh\u00e4userland, Deutschland). Zudem hatte er mehrere Einzelausstellungen, darunter 2015 im Moskauer Museum f\u00fcr Moderne Kunst.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">2022, nach dem Angriff Russlands auf die Ukraine, musste Dmitry aufgrund seiner offenen Anti-Kriegs-Haltung seine Heimat verlassen. Seine Karriere als zeitgen\u00f6ssischer K\u00fcnstler trat in den Hintergrund, doch er gewann mehr Zeit f\u00fcr die Praxis des Buddhadharma, der er schon seit Jahren folgte.
