Tibet House: About us

In the very center of Frankfurt, in the quarter called Bockenheim, you’ll find the regional center of all our Tibet House activities. In fact, it is on the second floor of a former bread factory in Friesengasse 13 – to be reached via an idyllic yard with lots of plants. Our association, which formerly resided in rural Franconia, has found a new and urban basis since November 2005. An ample communications area with a café, library, and shop invite you to stay.

Tibet House Germany is open Wednesdays to Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You are invited to also come when there is no official event to have a look at the rooms and their “inhabitants”. Please be aware that we have extra time for you at every Wednesday’s tea-time between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

In addition there are regular events on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (our weekly program) in which you can participate at any time. At nearly every weekend lectures, workshops, and seminars on the most diverse topics are being offered (events).
